Carnicure by Marlou is a Woody Floral Musk fragrance for Women & Men.
Previously known as l’Animal sauvage, the first perfume from Marlou.
Once released from the bottle, fiery notes roar forth through a heady blossom haze - orange blossom, violet - before coming to rest, purring and subdued, wrapped in a pelt of cream and musk, upon the skin – sandalwood, patchouli, civet, musk.
Widely known for boldly foregrounding animalic fragrance, with the release of Carnicure, Marlou immediately turned heads in the olfactory world. Best experienced durationally on skin, Marlou fragrances are designed to meld intimately with the natural scents produced by the body. Carnicure opens with a powdery floral and lands as a complex, sneaky and truly wild animalic. At one moment bits of fur appear in dry hay. The next, a honeyed but carnal black musk.
“This work is based around animal notes that blur an individual’s olfactory appearance, emanating trails of illusion. The body speaks, arousing the senses, sparking dialogue.”
