Resplendent is as described, a lustrous veil of shimmering intrigue, incense and rose. A woman in dark red silk, her face hidden by threads of gold and crimson looks out from a high balcony, behind her, shadows gather, woven from ghosts of scented love and the resistance of control. She is resplendent in her contemplation, her skin diffusing dewy white flowers and the piquancy of ancient spices. She may be a Queen or the phantom of one who still walks the floors of her sprawling palace.
