Karuna means Kindness / Kind-hearted or mercy in Thai. Karuna base on memories of Prin's childhood. Every Songkarn festival (Thai’s New year) during mid April our family will visit my grand mother elder brother’s house outside city centre where we live. He owned Chinese/ Traditional Thai pharmacy shop. In front of his house there is a temple where we always visit. Karuna is olfactory of Incense from Thai temple in Southern part of Thailand with smell of spices and flowers they always plant around temple such as Camphor, Jasmine Sambac, Canaga, Tuberose, Cassia, Ebony, Champaca etc. And the olfactory smells of precious woods, spices and herbs from my grand mother elder brother’s pharmacy shop. This is a perfume of memories– festivities, joy and my grandmother's kindness.
