Turquoise by Ybry Paris is a Floral Woody Musk fragrance for Women & Men. Nathalie Lorson went for something approachable here, which for a collection inspired by precious stones is a smart move. Not every fragrance needs to be a statement piece. The opening is lifted and clean: pink pepper for a little bite, freesia and peony for freshness. Nothing complicated, nothing aggressive. The heart is where the personality comes in. Brazilian gardenia and tuberose together give it a creamy, almost tropical richness, but the captive musk keeps it from going heavy. The base is warm resins, labdanum, benzoin, with ambrox smoothing out the edges. It sits close.
