A tangle of jungle greenery and luscious osmanthus blossom, Panda is a fusion of flowers, fruits and crunchy leaves. While the original formulation opened with the exoticism of sichuan pepper and ultra-green bamboo, the new Panda sets a more playful tone, with the first sniff yielding a delightfully juicy blend of smooth florals and mouthwatering fruits, a wonderland of apple, mandarin, magnolia and osmanthus.
In the mid-section, a smoother, cooler greenness takes over, with subtle hints of jasmine, amber and musks contributing to the dreamlike, blissful exuberance. Softly animalic base notes of animal-product-free civet and musk smoothly cushion the still present florals and green notes, ensuring that the new Panda, while perhaps kinder and gentler, is still a living, breathing creature. Reborn for 2017, there's one thing that hasn't changed about Panda- it's still an absolute delight.
