Once we released Ghaliya Rosarie, we immediately wanted to make a Ghaliyah based on oud, and this is much different than making an all oud perfume or even a typical oud-rich perfume. Its about making a very well balanced perfume where oud is the central theme and using accessory oils that will make oud perform the best.I will not talk about the insanely rare materials we sourced or the non-existant animalics that we obtained because the reality is the more one gains experience with perfume, the more perfumery becomes more than just using rare materials, perfumery becomes this extremely sensitive balance of three things, the perfume theme, the materials used, and also maximizing the beauty of any material at hand.If Rosarie was about rose and musk, Jinko was all about oud, oud, oud, Elixir Attar Melange is about how best to use a very large amount of oud with other materials to obtain a magical oud ghaliya experience, hence the product is placed in the Ghaliya section of the website.For this Ghaliya we used 8 different tinctures the most important of which are musk and ambergris, as well as various ouds from Malaysia, Bangladesh, Thailand, and Cambodia (Cambodia 1985) which we used to sell and which came from a very special collection of oils.
